ABOUT
Welcome to the digital footprint for RT-COOL. RT-COOL (Real Time COntrols and Optimization Laboratory) is the evolution of nearly 20 years of research in the field of controls, power engineering, and hardware in the loop. The focus of RT-COOL is to apply advanced controls and optimization concepts in conjunction with power electronic enablers to smart systems: maritime, terrestrial, and vehicular with the ultimate goal of validating high-fidelity models of systems and control in real-time via Controller Hardware in the Loop.

Our talented team consists of faculty, post-doctoral researchers, PhD students, and undergraduate researchers producing excellent state of the art research for the benefit of smart systems. In addition, we work with many partners internal to Clemson University as well as nationally and internationally.

I encourage you to explore our website and the research that we have performed. I believe you will find our work both useful and cutting-edge.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to learn more about our current projects, possible positions in the group, and potential collaborations.
